In The Rearview Mirror: Heart-warming, poignant, and beautifully written
Perhaps part of my joy in reading this is that I was coming of age only a few years behind the author. Much of the context was very familiar to me. The memories are beautifully described, and the small islands of more recent anecdotes give additional flavor to the road-trip story the way a few, well-chosen herbs add to a rich stew.

In The Rearview Mirror: A nice summer read.
I could not put the book down. You want to know what the boys get into with each new ride. It makes you want to go back in time to a more more simpler and kinder times.
